Martin Richardson explains how he created a movement through the Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation with a community of hockey players to help families in their deepest time of need, and how that movement has grown to provide millions of dollars for suffering families and also develop some exciting visions for the future for able bodied and disabled hockey players.

But for other kids where their school is their lifeline to meals, it means the anxiety of wondering how, when and where they are going to eat for the next two and half days. You’ll hear from Bob Bell how he and his team at Food for Thought are tackling this problem for tens of thousands of children and their families across the Denver Metro area by delivering bags of non-perishable food every week during the school year.
